Our Commitment

Orostream has built a reputation over more than 40 years for delivering high quality projects having originally being founded in 1982 and established to meet the infrastructure demands of specialised mainframe computer environments. This background required a multi-disciplined approach – integrating power, security, climate control as well as complex building infrastructure and communication systems expertly into projects with speed, precision and reliability.

Today, we bring that same integrated, ‘one-stop-shop’ mindset to every project we undertake. From secure environment construction to bespoke refurbishments and fit-outs, we combine general construction expertise with in-depth building services knowledge to deliver high-quality results seamlessly.

Working across the UK and internationally, every project is overseen by a Director with full decision making authority who is supported by dedicated project management and logistics teams with the appropriate levels of security clearance – ensuring accountability, confidentiality, agility and a consistently high standard of delivery every time.

We remain fully committed to providing a first class service where time, quality, and client satisfaction are always the priority.

Building a Culture of Safety

We’re often faced with unique challenges on our overseas sites and none more so than when implementing robust health and safety measures and imparting these to any locally engaged tradesmen and site operatives who may not be used to working to the same standards. However, with patience and pragmatism we ensure that our sites match or exceed those goals through being flexible and adaptable whilst maintaining our focus on providing the safest possible working environment. In addition, our people-first culture means every voice matters. We actively encourage all employees and partners to speak up about potential hazards and contribute to safer, more responsive workplaces.  We strive for a “zero harm” environment, where safety is not just a requirement, but a shared responsibility and value.

Proudly Employee Owned

At OSi, we take pride in being an Employee Owned Company.

OSi has always taken pride in being able to operate as “more than the sum of our parts” and this has never been more evident since we became employee owned in 2020 meaning every member of our team is truly part of the decision making process and has a real stake in our success, driving a shared commitment to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.

Being employee owned fosters a unique culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration – where everyone’s voice matters and every contribution counts. It motivates us to go the extra mile, building not just projects, but long-lasting working relationships with our clients and supply chains based on trust and dedication.

Since the introduction of the new Employee Ownership Trust model in 2014, the UK has been leading the world in the growth of employee owned businesses with other countries looking to learn from the UK policies and practices in this regard. In July 2025 there are over 2250 companies who are employee owned including household name and well established brands such as John Lewis Partnership, Richer Sounds and Mott MacDonald. This figure is ever increasing as the data revealing the benefits of being employee owned are now being realised and others are able to see how this could work for them too.

We strongly believe that it is also our clients who can benefit from this collective passion and responsibility, knowing they’re partnering with a company where people care deeply about and have a vested interest in, delivering the very best results.

Accreditations & Assurances

Underpinning our approach to all projects is our constant strive for improvement. This is why we take seriously the accreditations we have gained to date and are always looking to improve and add to these where possible.

OSi hold current ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification and are also Construction line accredited as well as being a member of SAFE Contractor.

We have direct access to a pool of resources in all trade disciplines all of which hold a level of government security clearances. This provides our clients with the assurance that we can correctly resource projects which require a high level of confidentiality and security awareness.

Our corporate IT system holds Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation and we are familiar with the handling of documents marked at higher security tiers.
